How much food do my cats need? - cat feeding guidelines

I have 3 indoor cats.
I feed 1 can (400 grams) and 120 grams of dry food a day. For all 3 of them.
Is this the right amount?
I read the guidelines on the packaging are often too high, so I somewhat weakened.
I have owned cats before, so I just to be sure, I want to feed the right amount. Thank you!
